Who Is Ari?

Believing the world is my oyster, I have had the pleasure of calling many places home with Houston, TX now being homebase. I am a TCU graduate with a BS in Child Development and a minor in Business, with experience working in both the States and China, I have over 12 years of experience.

I’ve known I had a gift with children from a young age. I began babysitting at 13 and by the age of 15, I was running my own summer camp for cousins and family friends. My original career path was to become a child advocacy lawyer. I realized we tend to make laws after something terrible has happened to a child, and I wanted to be more instrumental in my impact, thus solidifying my career in childcare. My passion goes beyond just watching your child: I pride myself on being able to connect with each individual child, making each experience with me unique with a lasting impression. I truly believe in — see a need fill a need. 

I love learning and teaching through real world examples in the form of field trips, arts and crafts, and exploring cultures through art and food. I believe children learn best in a nurturing, child-initiated play-based environment that fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy, and acceptance of individual differences.  

Putting together my years of experience with my background in childcare and administration, I position myself as a childcare expert providing high quality services to clients. Realizing there was a niche for providing high quality childcare, Adventures with Ari was born! I am so excited to be able to fulfill your childcare needs
